Selection and improvement of scripts
- At the beginning of the project, we chose to let the group members write their own scripts, and integrated several scripts that everyone liked to improve it. Fortunately, I finally chose my script and worked with our team members to improve the shortcomings of the script.
Character design
- We began to divide the work and cooperate. My work content is character design. I found a lot of references about our script calligraphers on the Internet and integrated them.

- There are also some costume research that arranges them in order, which can give me more inspiration to design characters.
Reflection and Gains from the Group Project
In this group project, I not only improved my professional skills but also deeply realized the importance of teamwork. Our group completed a relatively complex task together—from the initial division of work and data collection, to the mid-stage modeling and content integration, and finally the presentation. Every step relied on effective communication and collaboration among team members.
During the collaboration process, I also became aware of some issues. For example, the early stage division of tasks was not clear enough, which led to some duplication or omission of work. Our communication efficiency also needed improvement, as delayed information sometimes affected our overall progress. After discussion and adjustment, we gradually established a clearer task allocation system and held regular group meetings to ensure that every member completed their part on time. These experiences taught me that a successful team relies not only on individual effort, but also on efficient collaboration and a strong sense of responsibility.
At the same time, working with my teammates allowed me to learn new skills and ways of thinking, and also strengthened my problem-solving abilities. This project not only helped me apply the knowledge I’ve learned in a practical setting but also showed me the creativity and satisfaction that come from collective brainstorming.
Overall, this group project was a very meaningful experience. It helped me grow in how I approach team-based tasks and provided valuable experience for my future studies and work.
3D scene modelling
When designing the scene, I referred to many examples to assist with the modeling process. Whenever I encountered problems during modeling, I was able to find corresponding solutions. The biggest issue I faced was that the model had too many polygons, which caused it to lag. With the guidance of my professor, I was able to make improvements. After completing the scene modeling, I was very satisfied with my work and felt a strong sense of accomplishment.

Research
Chinese architecture, as an important part of Chinese civilization, has developed over thousands of years, showcasing rich cultural connotations and a unique artistic style. Through this research, I gained a deeper understanding of the structural features, architectural forms, and cultural significance of traditional Chinese architecture.
Traditional Chinese buildings are mostly constructed with wooden structures and emphasize symmetrical layouts, with a central axis highlighting order and hierarchy. Common roof elements such as upturned eaves, dougong (bracket sets), and multi-tiered roofs not only serve decorative purposes but also provide practical functions like drainage and wind resistance. In terms of color, red, yellow, and green—each bearing symbolic meanings—are widely used in palaces, temples, and gardens.
Moreover, architectural styles vary across regions in China. Examples include the siheyuan courtyards in Beijing, stilt houses in Yunnan, and tulou earthen buildings in Fujian, all of which reflect the integration of regional culture with natural environments. In modern architecture, more designers are combining traditional elements with contemporary materials to create “New Chinese” architectural styles that retain cultural charm while meeting modern needs.
Through this research, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the aesthetic value of Chinese architecture, and it has provided me with valuable inspiration and reference for my own design and modeling work.

- I also built a pavilion in a project in the game Minecraft, which is very interesting.
Brainstorming

Finally, the three students in our group completed the k-frame and editing together. The animation production has gained a lot in this project. They have improved their skills and become more skilful in group cooperation. In the future, they can give full play to their abilities in related projects. Even if there are some problems with the team members in the process, they can be solved.
